Transaction in Own Shares

Real Estate Investors Plc (AIM: RLE), the UK’s only Midlands-focused Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) with a portfolio of commercial property across all sectors, announces that on 9 November 2022, it purchased 6,000,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each (the “Buyback Shares”) on the London Stock Exchange through Liberum Capital Limited (“Liberum”), in accordance with the terms of its share buyback programme announced on 9 November 2022 (the “Programme”). The Buyback Shares acquired will be held in treasury for cancellation.

Following the purchase of the Buyback Shares, the Company will have 179,794,434 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in issue, of which 6,000,026 ordinary shares are held in treasury, all of which will be cancelled. Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares carrying voting rights will be 173,794,408.

The above figure of 173,794,408 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 as it applies in the UK (the Market Abuse Regulation), the table below contains detailed information of the individual trades made by Liberum as part of the Programme.
