Notice of General Meeting for REIT conversion

Real Estate Investors plc (AIM: RLE) the West Midlands based property group, announces that it has posted a circular to shareholders regarding the proposed conversion to a Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”) and convening a General Meeting of the Company to be held at the Company’s registered offices at Cathedral Place, Third Floor, 42-44 Waterloo Street, Birmingham B2 5QB at 10.30am on 23 December 2014.

The board of Real Estate Investors is proposing to convert the Company and its subsidiaries into a REIT with effect from 1 January 2015 and the purpose of the meeting is to seek approval for various amendments to the Company’s articles of association which are required in advance of REIT conversion.
