Ruffer LLP now controls the voting rights over 85,704,718
shares (12% of the voting rights) of Real Estate Investors Plc.

 

The change in percentage voting rights is due to Ruffer LLP’s clients purchasing of an aggregate of 60,976,694 shares from Real Estate Investors Plc’s placing of 218,181,821 shares. As a result our percentage voting rights increased from 4% to 12%. These new shares were admitted to trading on 19 July 2011.

 

Please note that on 20 July 2011 the Real Estate Investors Plc had a corporate event which resulted in holders getting 1 new share for every 10 old ones. This changed Ruffer LLP’s control of voting rights from 85,704,718 old shares to 8,570,471 new shares.
