Director/PDMR Shareholdings
Real Estate Investors Plc (AIM:RLE), the UK’s only Midlands-focused Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), with a portfolio of commercial property across all sectors, announces that further to the announcement on 28 March 2025 of the vesting of share awards to Paul Bassi (Chief Executive) in respect of 185,654 ordinary shares of 10p each (“Ordinary Shares”) and Marcus Daly (Finance Director) in respect of 116,034 Ordinary Shares, on 2 April 2025, these directors exercised their right to acquire such Ordinary Shares for nil consideration.
These Ordinary Shares, together with a further 164,556 Ordinary Shares in relation to share awards to other employees, have been issued and allotted by the Company. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of 466,244 new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM (“Admission”). Admission is expected to occur on or around 8.00 a.m. on 8 April 2025.
Following Admission, the Company’s issued share capital will comprise 174,848,215 Ordinary Shares with 26 Ordinary Shares held in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 174,848,215. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure, Guidance and Transparency Rules.
Following Admission, Paul Bassi will be interested in 17,685,654 Ordinary Shares (representing 10.11% of the Company’s issued ordinary share capital) and Marcus Daly will be interested in 4,637,543 Ordinary Shares (representing 2.65% of the Company’s issued ordinary share capital).
